Physical Therapy is about life transformation

Physical Therapy is not for quick fixes. Sure, it can reduce or abolish your pain and improve the way you move in one session, but it’s much more than that. Most people think of physical therapy as a nice massage, a little electrical stimulation or ultrasound, and some exercises. But it’s much more than that.

Physical Therapy is about improving your life. It can help you get back to what you want to do pain-free.

So many times, people have come to me saying that they used to be able to do something but can't now because of pain. I had a guy talk to me about his knees, he couldn't go up a flight of stairs because it hurt his knees too much. I asked him how long this has been going on, and he said over 20 years. But what struck me was that in all that time, he never tried physical therapy. He just didn't think it was important because the pain was never constant.

Physical Therapy is more than just lying on a table. Physical Therapists specialize in movement and moving pain-free. We can find out what's causing the pain and fix it or refer you out to someone who can.

Life is best worth living and living well. That means that we maintain our independence and mobility as we age, we continue to be able to lift and carry things in and out of the house, be able to go up a set of stairs, that we are able to reach down and tie our shoes and bend and squat. I've seen so many clients that have lost all this.

But what if there was a way to get all that back without medications or surgery? That's where the life transformation comes in. It's about getting all that back, being able to bend and lift, being able to do the things you used to do.

Only 10% of people who have musculoskeletal issues go see a Physical Therapist.

That's 90%, the vast majority, of people who do not seek help for their problems. They just live with it or they have no idea what Physical Therapy is.

Let's spread the word. #lifetransformation.
