Total Body Diagnostic Physical Evaluation and Manual Physical Therapy Treatment

If you have a movement dysfunction or pain, treatment begins with a physical evaluation. We can diagnose the musculoskeletal problem and begin treating it immediately so you can get better faster.

Treatments include Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Kinesiotaping, Cupping, Dry Needling, Joint mobilizations, Joint manipulations, other manual therapy interventions, and therapeutic exercise.

PAR5 PT is not your typical physical therapy and golf fitness clinic. We are different. One-on-one clinical specialist hands-on attention each and every session. No multiple patients per hour, no aides, and no wasted time, so you can get better sooner.

60 minutes.

Golf Performance Assessment

Your golf swing is unique. But how to swing the golf club efficiently and consistently is not. The secret to a repeatable and powerful swing is the kinematic sequence. The Golf Performance Assessment includes: Athlete interview, injury review, goal setting, Posture Screen, Movement Screen (a 16-point tool to assess your body’s ability to swing a golf club: evaluating flexibility, joint mobility, stability, strength, balance, and coordination), physical examination, Power and Strength Assessment, Speed Assessment, and exercise program recommendations. The end result is a “Golf Fitness Handicap”, similar to a regular golf handicap, it is a value that reflects your physical fitness and your athletic performance. With the findings of the Golf Performance Assessment, we can infer reasons why your golf swing has certain “characteristics”, because we’ll make the Body-Swing Connection.

It includes a 2D golf swing video analysis.

Golf Fitness Training

Once we clear out any movement dysfunctions and pain, we can begin to incorporate fitness training to improve stability, mobility, strength, and power. If you are an athlete or a weekend warrior, fitness training is integral in maintaining independence, mobility and reduce the risk of injury. At PAR5 PT, we believe that if you feel better, you’ll move better, and then you’ll play better.

At PAR5 PT, we believe in clinical effectiveness, reduction of pain, restoration of movement, and improving overall fitness.

PAR5 PT stands for Performance And Recovery based on the 5 concepts of Physical Therapy: Mobility, Stability, Balance, Coordination, and Manual Therapy.

Each session is with a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and Golf Medical Professional. We believe that effective treatment and care occurs one-on-one, with undivided attention for your session. Unlike other clinics that may divide your time with another patient, PAR5 PT only schedules one client per hour.
